Privacy policy
Last updated 31 October 2026
The AI King (operated by Two Watts Trust, ABN 22 639 050 213, "we", "us", "our") provides AI voice receptionists and voice agents for businesses. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information.
1. Information we collect
- Enquiries and sign-ups: your name, business name, email, phone number, industry and anything you tell us in a form, including forms on our website and lead forms on Facebook and Instagram (Meta lead ads).
- Clients: account and billing details, contact people, business information used to train your AI receptionist, and your call lists.
- Calls handled by our AI: caller phone numbers, call recordings, transcripts, summaries, and details callers give (for example name, address, job details and booking times). We collect this on behalf of the business the caller is contacting.
- Payments: handled by PayPal. We receive confirmation of payments but never see your full card number.
- Website and portal: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, plus a session cookie when you log in to the portal. We do not use advertising cookies on our website.
- Campaign data: if you arrive from an ad, we may record the ad click identifier (for example gclid or fbclid) and campaign tags so we know which ads work.
2. How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, arrange and run demos, and set up and provide our service.
- To answer, record, transcribe and summarise calls, book appointments and follow up leads for our clients.
- To bill you, issue tax invoices, provide support and keep our service secure.
- To improve our service, including reviewing calls to improve call quality.
- To send you information about our services where you have consented or the law otherwise allows (see section 6).
3. AI disclosure
Our receptionists and demo assistants are artificial intelligence (AI) voice agents, not people. Every call begins with a statement that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant. Callers can ask to leave a message, request a call-back or be transferred to a person where the business offers that. AI can make mistakes, so important details are confirmed with the business.
4. Call recording
Calls answered or made by our AI are recorded and transcribed. Callers are told at the start of each call that the call may be recorded. Recordings and transcripts are used to deliver the service (for example job details, quotes and bookings), to resolve disputes and to improve quality. If you do not want to be recorded, you can end the call and contact the business another way.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to provide our service:
- with the business you called or that asked us to call you (our client);
- with service providers who host or run parts of our service, including cloud hosting (Cloudflare), voice and telephony (Bland AI), payments (PayPal) and, where you came through a lead ad, Meta;
- where required or authorised by law.
Overseas disclosure: some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We take reasonable steps under APP 8 to make sure they handle it consistently with the APPs.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Marketing, the Spam Act and the Do Not Call Register
We send commercial electronic messages (email or SMS) only with your consent or where the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) allows. Each message identifies us and includes a working way to unsubscribe, which we act on within 5 business days. Telemarketing calls are made in line with the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth) and the Telecommunications (Telemarketing and Research Calls) Industry Standard, including permitted calling hours and honouring opt-out requests. To opt out at any time, tell the AI on the call, reply STOP to an SMS, or email us.
7. Clients' responsibilities
When our clients use our service to answer or make calls, they are responsible for having the right to contact the people on their lists, for washing lists against the Do Not Call Register where required, and for their own privacy obligations to their customers.
8. Security and retention
We protect personal information with access controls, encryption in transit, hashed passwords and logging. We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations (for example tax records), then delete or de-identify it.
9. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you have a privacy complaint, email us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
